And in this particular moment: we decided to take a family portrait on the hill by the lake that sits next to the cabin my husbands family rents every year for us to gather together in during the beautiful Indiana fall. An image I will treasure all of my days, and made a large print of to hang by the stairs in our home.

I’M KAITLYN

I’m a wife and mom of three, living in Indianapolis Indiana. Photographing people has been one of my life’s greatest joys. What a gift, each day is precious and fleeting. As I've watched my own children grow I've come to learn that I do not regret one photograph I’ve ever taken. Each image tells a story of a season that meant something to me or changed me in some way. The more life I live the more important this job feels. Photographs are worth the investment and I promise I do not take that honor lightly!

You can choose between a 20 minute mini session or a full hour long session, just depends on the needs and desires of your family portraits. Either way you are guaranteed to get images your family will cherish for a lifetime.

WEDDINGS

In my opinion, wedding portraits are one of the most important investments to make on your wedding day. Think about it, of all the things you will spend money on for your wedding day, the images are the one purchase that will stay with you the rest of your life (and maybe the wedding dress and shoes, unless you’re like me and never got your dress cleaned after your muddy wedding in 2015 lol). Wedding days are some of my favorite portraits to make, I deeply revere the gift of marriage and want to honor that in the images you get on your wedding day!

What a fun season of life! The buzz and excitement of wedding planning can bring up so many emotions. Taking a break to pause and soak in the season is so important! Engagement sessions are some of my favorite sessions and great way to get to know each other a little better before your wedding day. A session is included in the premiere wedding package and can be added on to other packages.
